Unless is a collaboration between Daniel Davison, Mike Weiss, and Bryan Taylor — three musicians whose past work has helped shape highly influential records in rock and alternative music. Davison is known for his drumming and songwriting with Norma Jean, Underoath, and Every Time I Die, bringing a dynamic energy to the band’s sound. Weiss co-founded the genre-defying mewithoutYou, crafting their distinctive blend of post-hardcore and indie rock with his signature guitar style and songwriting. Taylor, who has released multiple records under his solo project Slowriter, contributes a vocal style with a melodic and textural sensibility rooted in his background in experimental songwriting and production.

Together, they form Unless — a project that channels their collective experience into music that feels both distinctive and timeless, weaving atmospheric and melodic elements into something entirely their own.
